If you are handy and want to modify your existing EVSE to function as a power diverter as well as your normal EVSE, then this DIY Kit is for you.  By adding this SolarEVSE Kit to your exisiting EVSE, you will not only preserve the existing features* of your EVSE, but it will give you all the features found in the SolarAdapter.  If you have the room inside your EVSE, then this SolarEVSE DIY Kit will work in your EVSE.

You will still need a compatible Power Sensor such as the PowerMC from this site to report the extra power.

Please see the Notes section for more information.

* Once this Kit is installed, your EVSE will always indicate that the plug is plugged into your car.  If you want to see the actual plug in state, then you will need to use the SolarEVSE Kit's user interface via a web browser.
