Stops generating by itself
Hi!
My Sunbeam stops my GTIL2 from generating by itself. I generates as it should but then, after a short period, it turns generating off.
I can see on MQTT that it sets ion -> 0 and nothing has told it do to that.
How do I debug? Hardware failure? Bug in Sunbeam?

Changing PLIM via MQTT often
I want to avoid exporting but still follow the consumption. Using clamps would of course be preferrable but that is not possible. Then I saw the Sunbeam and thought I'd change power limit via MQTT instead, but I now realize that it isn't as smooth as with the clamp to change power limit; it's a 'restart' every time.
Will this kill my GTILs over time?

Hi! Ah, thanks for the good explanation. I'm would be quite happy with changing plim like a few times per hour (5-10 or something), would this behavior be OK for the inverter then? And yes, I know there can be no promises, I'm just looking for common sense.
Split CT import/export?
Currently my single phase SUN1000GTL2 inverter imports about 10-20W from the grid while limiting. What can I expect from the Split CT with two phases while limiting?

Pretty much the same average range for both import and export with a maximum of 50W.
SunBeam questions
After install i noticed inverter status (ion) may not be accurate. While in remote mode and limit mode set to power (limtm=2), The inverter responds well to plim commands, but I noticed (at times) that ion will show 0 or not generating. Also the inverter does not respond when I publish to topic 2ms/SB/0/c/ion with 0 while the inverter is generating power. Also is it possible to configure the lcd state remotely (ex: 2ms/SB/0/c/lcd)?
And I just noticed via the web interface the "Show Commands" feature for MQTT pub topics, nice touch and super useful!
And at some point it will be nice to be able to configure the MQTT message rate, 1 Hz could be useful.

Ok, thanks. I think ignoring err:6 and err:10 should work fine since the LCD display control mode doesn't stop generating when receives these errors. Since the manufacturer of these inverters didn't release any documentation on the data between the Display and Control boards, I can only change the SunBeam's firmware to behave the same way as how the Display board reacts as people are experiencing them just like what you did so I really appreciate your help.
However, this doesn't solve the issue of why you are getting these errors. It might be indicative of something is going bad or there's something probably on the AC side it doesn't like (the occasional 0 on the AC voltage). Anyways, I'll make the change to the firmware as verion 1.54 in about 5 minutes. I'll let you know and you can download it immediately using the debug method I mentioned earlier.
