A DIY Smart Kit for your JuiceBox
Here is an inexpensive ($49) and simple upgrade to make your JuiceBox smart again. All existing parts are reused so there is no need to throw anything away. You'll end up with a smart controller using WiFi that allows you to control your JuiceBox from any web browser. No app or cloud is required.

You can even easily integrate into your home automation system like Home Assistant.
And this product is based off of the SolarEVSE so it has all the same features to be a power diverter/solar tracker.

The kit comes with everything you need and the only tools required is a screwdriver, cutter and crimpers/pliers. It is specifically designed to easily interface with the JuiceBox.

Installs in a few minutes. Unscrew 4 screws, open cover, add board, cut 1 wire, crimp connections and connect a connector onto the main board.
After installation, you can access your JuiceBox using a Web Browser. There is a web page server built into our added board along with a way to send pertinent data via a messaging format called MQTT. MQTT allows you to integrate into almost all modern third-party home automation software. The images below are some of the different ways to access your JuiceBox. The first set of images show the Home page for the native Web Browser interface. The next images show the MQTT data presented in a Node-RED application and the last image shows the MQTT data in a Home Assistant software.
