2017 will be a banner year for home solar (PV), electric vehicles (EVs) and home automation. Why? The timing is right. We think this is the year all three markets will leverage each other for unprecedented growth. As independent growth markets, each one has been fairly sustainable becoming more cost effective and is now somewhat mainstream. Recent data have proven the robustness, reliability and feasibility for products used in these markets. Often those who use products from one market would also, more often than not, use products from the other markets. For example, a large percentage of EV drivers eventually find themselves interested in solar PV systems. The hard core DIY's would then use some sort of home automation to link it all together.
This is where 2MUCHSun can accelerate this convergence with our products and expertise. Initially, we are focusing on the DIY community with the eventual support of the non-DIYs. We can help develop customized solutions to fit your exact needs. Our initial product offerings will include a specially designed EVSE ("car charger") and an affordable home energy monitoring system to connect to a home solar (PV) system with home automation for those who want to maximize solar charging.
